Ida Prester is a unique presence on the music scene. Her distinctive aesthetic, radiant energy, sharp and socially engaged lyrics, and irresistible dance melodies have earned her recognition and affection from audiences across the region.

She began her career in 2003 by founding the band Lollobrigida, where she first shaped a sound leaning toward electro and synth pop. Their songs were marked by honest lyrics, dance rhythms, and a punk attitude. Ida was also active in the harder electro project Frau Casio, as well as in the band MAiKA, known for its distinctive sound, striking aesthetic, and performances in English.

After fifteen years of diverse music projects, in 2019 she released her first solo single Šansa. Since then, she has built a series of recognizable dance-romantic tracks – Minuta, Dodir, Kvar, Luda, Sad, and 70 – confirming her successful transformation from a rebellious punk frontwoman into an acclaimed electro-pop artist.

Ida is also known as an activist, advocating for important issues and fighting against social injustice.
