Dani was born in Athens, where she completed her studies in sculpture at the School of Fine Arts. She then began her professional career as a comic book artist, collaborating with some of the world’s leading publishers, including 2000AD, IDW, Vault Comics, Titan, and AWA.

Together with writer Dan Wolters, she worked on the title *Arkham City: The Order of the World* for DC Comics, after which she had the opportunity to publish *Coffin Bound* with the same author for Image Comics. She continued her career with major successes such as *The Low, Low Woods*, created with writer Carmen Maria Machado for Hill House, as well as *Athanasia*, in collaboration with Daniel Kraus for Vault.

In 2015, she won the “Reader’s Choice” award in Greece for her comic *Tales from the Strips*.
