Luana Vecchio is an Italian author known for her vivid use of color and a drawing style inspired by Japanese manga, blending eroticism with horror. She first gained attention with a short comic created for the *Millarworld Annual 2017* anthology published by Image Comics, the leading American independent publisher.
She went on to release her breakout hit *Lovesick*, a work that came to define her career. She then began collaborating with writer Wyatt Kennedy on projects such as *Something for Your M.I.N.D.* for Heavy Metal, as well as *Bolero*, once again for Image Comics.
Following the success of *Lovesick*, Image Comics decided to republish it, which led to a continuation of the series. The new installments further confirmed her status as one of the most sought-after young artists on the American market.
She has also worked for major publishers such as DC Comics on titles featuring Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy from the Batman universe. Additionally, she continues to expand her own *Lovesick* universe through spin-off stories such as *Doll Parts: A Lovesick Tale*, where she further explores the character of Domina.
