Special Guest

Tony Sandoval

Sandoval, considered by some critics to be perhaps the best comic book artist of today, first harnessed his great talent working for various design and marketing firms. However, after some time, his extraordinary imagination led him towards the magical world of comics and illustration. As a complete author, Toni self-published the comic “Nocturno” and later “Blacky Libro.” This work earned him collaborations with comic magazines and journals such as Tiniblas, Lluvia, and Fausto. He soon had the opportunity to work for the demanding French market, where his talent fully flourished. After a successful collaboration with Pierre Paquet on “A Glance Over the Shoulder,” the sky became the limit for Toni. He continued working for American, French, and Spanish publishers, with some of the most notable titles including “Johnny Caronte, Zombie Detective,” “30 Days of Night,” “Windy Day,” “Water Snakes,” “1000 Storms,” “Melancholy Epidemic,” and “Organica.” He has been nominated three times for the most prestigious award in the world of comics – the Eisner Award.
